Old Soil, New Stories in Every Glass

After three and a half years of planting, tending, and patiently nurturing our vines, we’re thrilled to finally open our tasting room and share the wines so many of you have been waiting for. Your support and excitement throughout this journey have meant the world to us.

On our historic 48-acre farm, where generations once worked the same soil, we now cultivate ten estate-grown vinifera varieties crafted into small-batch wines that reflect both heritage and hope. We’re proud to pour the first chapters of what we know will be a long, shared story.

Thank you for believing in this vineyard before the doors even opened.

We can’t wait to welcome you and raise a glass together!

Barrel Tasting Experience: From Vineyard to Bottle

On Friday, January 16, 2026, proprietors John and Debbie Bowen invite you into our barrel room for an immersive tasting of our 2025 vintages—straight from the barrel. You’ll sample wines in progress and learn what truly makes a wine “ready to bottle.”

Here’s how the evening unfolds:

You’ll arrive at 6:00 p.m. for your first tasting in our kitchen. From there, we’ll head down to our basement winery, where our newest vintages are quietly aging. Using a wine thief (yes, that’s the real name), you’ll taste directly from the barrels—sampling the same wine at different stages and from different barrels: French oak and Hungarian oak, new and neutral.

By tasting side by side, you’ll experience firsthand how oak, time, and barrel choice shape a wine over months—not in theory, but in the glass.

John will walk you through the 2025 growing season, winemaking decisions, yeast selection, blending options, and release timing. With a small group, this isn’t a lecture—it’s a conversation. Ask questions, dive deep, and explore the wines you’re tasting together.

Plus: We’ll be releasing the first wines from our 2025 harvest—Riesling and Grüner Veltliner. You’ll be among the very first to taste them and take a bottle home.

Your Ticket Includes

  • 90-minute guided tasting with winemaker John Bowen

  • Behind-the-scenes access to our production area

  • Tastings from different barrels, including French and Hungarian oak

  • Wine sensory evaluation: The Five S’s

  • Small bites between tastings
